What does "ABM" mean?

ABM:
Account Based Marketing [ABM] is the B2B term for when the marketing department and the sales people actually work together to turn prospects into customers. It is very focused on individual companies, figuring out what "high value accounts" can be closed quickly, and marketing to them aggressively. ABM requires tremendous "personalization", meaning that the needs and wants of each individual prospect have to be surveyed or figured out, and then addressed.
