What does "Content Farm" mean?

Content Farm:
A Content Farm (aka "Content Mill") is a website with many articles of thin content about some subject, typically plagiarized from other websites and recombined and regenerated so as to produce a great deal of text using keyword phrases intended to boost the ranking of that web page in the SERPs. These are recognizable because there are few outbound links to cited sources and usually a great deal of advertising displayed. Content farms were mostly killed off by Google's Panda update.
