What does "Core Web Vitals" mean?

Core Web Vitals:

From Cloudflare: "Core Web Vitals [CWV] are web performance metrics that Google uses to help determine which webpages to show in response to search queries. Google started incorporating Core Web Vitals into its ranking algorithms in mid-2021." The main three Core Web Vitals that Google tells us about are: LCP, FID, and CLS (See those entries in this glossary or the Cloudflare article linked below.)
