What does "EMD" mean?

EMD:
EMD or Exact Match Domains are domain names which exactly match the keyword phrase for which one is hoping to rank at Google. For example, if your keyword phrase was, say, Alfa Romea Alfetta, the Exact Match Domain for that would be "alfaromeoalfetta.com" or "alfa-romeo-alfetta.com". Until Google updated its algorithm in 2012, having an EMD was an effective part of a good SEO plan to get top rankings. Since then, an EMD is more likely to get a site penalized for keyword stuffing than to help it rise to the top of the search results. Consult an SEO expert if you think you have an EMD issue and get some help to sort it out.
