PageRank is the name of one of the algorithms used by Google to determine how a web page should be ranked in its search results. It is most likely an estimate of a web page's importance or popularity. Other algorithms such as RankBrain have augmented or outright supplanted the importance of the PageRank algorithm. (Website owners used to obsess over the PageRank of their web pages.)
