What does "Second Party Data" mean?

Second Party Data:
Second Party Data [or "2nd Party Data" or "2P Data" or "2PD"] is First Party Data that has been shared between two or more parties on a "private" basis for mutual benefit, meaning that no other parties can access or view it. It requires mutual customer records and shares only the segment of customers you have in common with your data partners. Another way of looking at it is that Second Party Data is data that an organization collects straight from its audience and then sells directly to another company. Compare with Zero Party Data and First Party Data and Third Party Data.
