AOL Search
AOL Search = Bing

AOL Search

Is Actually Just Bing

There's no direct way to submit your website URL to make sure AOL includes it in search results. For the last few years, all search results at AOL have been coming from Bing.

In other words, Bing provides the search results for any search done at AOL. Or as AOL says, their results are "enhanced by Bing." Note that AOL search was at one time provided by Google, and way back before that, AOL actually had its own search engine. The AOL search engine was never a very good one.

It is relatively easy to submit your site to Bing. In most cases you won't need to do that, but there's no harm in doing it once. The best thing to do is to make sure you have a sitemap.xml file, and that you list it in your robots.txt file so Bing will find it and index all the pages of your site.
